Position: General Warehouse Associate

Location: Londonderry, NH

Salary: $18 per hour

Hours: Monday to Friday, 10am-6:30 pm or until work is completed (possible OT available)

Local company is looking for a General Warehouse Associate to join their team. This position works on the floor, laydown lane, processing orders by picking and filling tote boxes/containers. He/she will send and accept shipments while keeping the warehouse clean and safe at all times.

Responsibilities:

• Hand selects orders within various areas of the warehouse.
• Stack product on pallets in accordance with proper selecting procedures (for example, no stacking heavy-on-light, labels facing out, etc.)
• Operate an electric pallet jack or forklift to transport products. 
• Stage pallets for loading on proper dock locations.
• Follows company's preferred methods at all times, and immediately advise supervisor of any unsafe conditions.
• Maintain and safely operate all assigned equipment, including but not limited to pallet jack, Bar-code gun, Hip Printer, and personal protective equipment. 
• Frequently reach up to 72 inches; constantly bend and twist while operating a pallet jack and/or forklift, retrieving items from lower shelf areas.
• Shrink-wrap product on loading dock.
• Other duties may be assigned. 

Requirements:

• Hours may be unpredictable and must be able to work longer than 8 hours as needed.
• Strong attention to detail is a must.
• Can work independently with minimal direction.
• Ability to work under pressure and rapidly changing priorities. 
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs as needed.
• Good attendance & punctuality. 
• Previous warehouse, forklift, and/or overhead crane experience is a plus!
