WAREHOUSE ASSOCIATES

LOCATION: Owen Sound, ON

SHIFT : Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 1pm

PAY RATE: $19.75/hour

Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our warehouse team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for efficiently handling packages in a fast-paced environment, ensuring accurate order fulfillment and maintaining safety standards.

Duties

• Load and unload packages from delivery trucks and containers.
• Sort and organize packages for efficient distribution within the warehouse.
• Operate heavy equipment such as cranes and forklifts as needed, adhering to safety protocols.
• Utilize order picking systems, including AS400, to ensure accurate order fulfillment.
• Perform routine inspections of equipment to ensure proper functioning.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse space to promote a safe working environment.
• Collaborate with team members to meet daily operational goals and deadlines.

Requirements

• Ability to perform heavy lifting (up to 50 pounds) consistently throughout the shift.
• Experience in warehouse distribution or similar environments is preferred.
• Familiarity with order picking processes and equipment operation is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately.
• Excellent teamwork skills with a commitment to safety practices.
• Flexibility to work various shifts as required by operational needs.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $19.75 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 45 per week

Additional pay:

• Overtime pay
