Voted Best Day Spa 2021 and 2019, Woodhouse Spa of North Bethesda is now hiring a Full Time Spa Manager to join our management team.

The Spa Manager is responsible for ensuring everything runs like clockwork during our day-to-day operations and makes sure every guest has a relaxing and memorable experience.

More specifically our Spa Managers:

• Orchestrates the spa schedule and ensures proper guest flow
• Rocks sales numbers by providing gift card and retail recommendations
• Ensures a positive, consistent guest experience
• Operates as a strong second in command to the General Manager and will be relied upon to keep the spa running at optimal levels while the GM is not at the spa.
• Must be organized, dependable, a good trouble-shooter, and be able to resolve most issues.
• Needs thorough knowledge of all protocols and must be comfortable giving direction to others.
• Significant responsibility for moving retail and cross-selling the services of the spa.
• Responsible for, and typically scheduled to open and/or close the spa most days.
• This position requires at least 40-hours/week (at least 50-hours/week when business is slow).

Specialty Responsibilities:

• COVID-19 ensure compliance with all CDC and Montgomery County, MD public health guidelines;
• Front desk operations;
• Assist with Scheduling hospitality and technical staff;
• Guest relations ensure that every guest experience exceeds their expectations;
• Employee relations ensure equitable & consistent treatment of staff;
• Manage spa parties and events;
• Assist with recruitment and training: interviewing, recruiting and on-boarding.

Experience and Skill Requirement:

• Experience in spa or retail management position.
• Must possess excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Must be a self-starter who enjoys working with the public in a fast-paced environment.
• Weekend and evening work is required.
• Proficiency in G-suite and other basic computer skills a plus.
• Experience with the Meevo software a plus.
