Responsibilities:

Peraton is hiring a Contractor Program Security Officer (CPSO) embedded within a customer's Acquisition Program Management Office supporting multi-discipilned Special Access Program (SAP) and Sensitive Compartment Information (SCI) security management. Candidate will work in a security team environment supporting the program manager and program security officer. This positon is located in Huntsville, AL

What you'll do:

• Day-to-day security management of SAPF and SCIF, ensuring compliance with DoD and component regulations
• Evaluate and create Program Access Requests (PAR) to ensure compliance with nomination process guidelines prior to submitting to the approval authority
• Maintain electronic personnel records with the JADE application
• Serve as a Top Secret Control Officer
• Serve as a Special Security Representative
• Maintain security documentation in a controlled SharePoint environment
• Conduct self-inspections and inpections of vendor and other government facilities
• Conduct Security Awareness, Training, and Education (SETA) initial and annual training requirements to program indoctrinated personnel
• Validate access and process visit requests within both JADE and DISS

Qualifications:

What you'll need:

• Education: 5 years with BS/BA; 3 years with MS/MA; 0 years with PhD
• Clearance: Active TS/SCI
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a SAP security role
• Highly proficient with security systems of record (JADE/DISS)
• Working knowledge of DOD SAP and IC Directives

Preferred Skills:

• SPED certification (SFPC, SAPPC, SPIPC, SPSC)
• Experience managing security for sensitive test events

Target Salary Range:
$86,000 - $138,000. This represents the typical salary range for this position based on experience and other factors.
