Pacific Life is transforming to a Product/Platform Operating Model. We seek an expert in product management and Lean-Agile frameworks to reshape our operating model, covering funding, governance, talent, strategy, vendor management, performance, portfolio governance, tooling, and ways of working.

As a Product Operating Model Consultant, you will work closely with our internal clients to assess, design, and implement effective product /platform operating models that drive innovation, efficiency, and value. You will leverage your expertise in the industry as a Product Operating Model practitioner and your knowledge of agile methodologies to pragmatically guide the organization through the transformation journey, ensuring Pacific Life achieves sustainable success. We are looking for a highly hands-on practitioner who works directly with teams at all levels to deliver results.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assessment and Analysis: Evaluate current models, identify improvement areas, and analyze organizational structures and processes.
  • Strategy and Design: Define vision and strategy, design tailored operating models, and develop implementation roadmaps.
  • Implementation and Coaching: Guide implementation, provide hands-on coaching, and facilitate workshops and training.
  • Continuous Improvement: Establish metrics, address challenges, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Thought Leadership: Stay updated on industry trends and contribute to thought leadership content.
  • Enterprise Contributions: Share lessons learned, create playbooks, and support the Product Delivery Enablement team.

The experience you bring:

  • 10+ years in leading product/platform operating models.
  • Proven track record in implementing product-centric operating models.
  • Expertise in financial management within a product/platform model.
  • Strong partnership-building skills with executives and cross-functional teams.
  • Leadership and storytelling skills to guide organizational change.
  • Ability to influence and align teams.
  • Commitment to integrating change enablement and communication.

Base Pay Range:

The base pay range noted represents the company’s good faith minimum and maximum range for this role at the time of posting. The actual compensation offered to a candidate will be dependent upon several factors, including but not limited to experience, qualifications and geographic location. Also, most employees are eligible for additional incentive pay.

$159,660.00 - $195,140.00
