Internally known as a Technology Engineer, this person will be tasked with supporting the Technical Manager with technical requests and quality matters along with providing technical support to various business units. Job Title : Technology Engineer
Job Type : Full-time/Direct Hire/On-Site
Hours : Days
Pay: $75,000 - $95,000 annual base, depending upon prior experience

The Technology Engineer will be accountable for the following job duties:

• Support various business units with technical advice/expertise relating to company products
• Prepare technical reports and suggests changes/optimizations for existing technical issues with company products
• Support the Operations Manager/Technical Manager/Product Managers on product testing and support the approvals process
• Coordinate all incoming requests from customers, prospects and internal customers and prepare technical solutions
• Support the Operations Department with technical related requests as needed
• Work on different product drawings and prepare BOM’s for complicated assemblies
• Assist with the development and maintenance of the parts catalogues and operation instruction manuals for the assigned products
• Provide training to salespeople and technicians regarding different product knowledge and installations
• Become proficient with OSHA, IBC and Canadian OH&S standards and make sure product installation drawings sent to customers are safe and in compliance.
• Visit site and consult the customer engineers in case of complicated projects

We’re actively seeking Technical Engineers with the following background profile :

• Bachelor’s degree in Structural/Mechanical/Production Engineering, Masters a plus
• 3-5 years of prior experience in a similar role
• Highly proficient in current 2D & 3D Solid Modelling in Solidworks or related CAD software along with knowledge of FEA
