Job Details Responsibilities:
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you will be tasked with:
1. Supervising and coordinating the activities of the maintenance team to ensure all equipment is functioning correctly and safely.
2. Developing and implementing maintenance procedures and ensuring all procedures are followed by the maintenance team.
3. Troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical equipment faults to minimize downtime.
4. Conduct regular inspections of machinery and equipment to identify and resolve issues before they escalate.
5. Managing maintenance schedules and ensuring all preventative maintenance is carried out in a timely and efficient manner.
6. Collaborating with other departments to optimize production efficiency and quality.
7. Training and mentoring maintenance staff, promoting a culture of continuous learning and improvement.
8. Ensuring compliance with all safety regulations and promoting a culture of safety within the team.
9. Managing maintenance budgets, monitoring expenditures, and identifying opportunities for cost savings.
Qualifications:
The ideal candidate for the Maintenance Supervisor role will have:
1. A minimum of 3 years' experience in a supervisory role within the maintenance field in the manufacturing industry.
2. Proven experience in troubleshooting and repairing mechanical and electrical systems.
3. Extensive knowledge of manufacturing machinery and systems.
4. A strong understanding of safety regulations and procedures.
5. Excellent leadership and team management skills.
6. The ability to make decisions under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively.
7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical information clearly and concisely.
8. A degree in Engineering or a related field is preferred.
9. Certifications in electrical or mechanical maintenance would be a plus.
