Job Title: Maintenance Manager
Location: Greenville, NC
Salary: $150,000 - $160,000
Job Summary: We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to oversee and manage all maintenance activities within our paper manufacturing facility in Greenville, NC. The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of machinery, equipment, and facilities, while implementing preventative maintenance programs and improving overall efficiency. This role requires strong leadership skills, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality standards.
Key Responsibilities:
• Develop and implement comprehensive maintenance plans and schedules to ensure optimal performance of all machinery and equipment.
• Oversee and coordinate daily maintenance activities, including troubleshooting, repairs, and preventative maintenance.
• Manage and lead a team of maintenance technicians, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and company policies, promoting a culture of safety and continuous improvement.
• Monitor and analyze equipment performance and downtime, identifying opportunities for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to address equipment issues and support production goals.
• Manage maintenance budget and inventory of spare parts, ensuring cost-effective solutions and minimal downtime.
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, equipment history, and work orders.
• Coordinate with external vendors and contractors for specialized repairs and services.
• Stay updated on industry trends, new technologies, and best practices in maintenance management.
Qualifications:
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Industrial Maintenance, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in a maintenance management role within a manufacturing environment, preferably in the forest products industry.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and pneumatic systems.
• Proven leadership and team management skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities.
• Familiarity with computerized maintenance management systems (CMMS) and other relevant software.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
