Position: Maintenance Manager

Location: Garner, NC

Pay: $102k to $125k (depending on experience)

Experience:

• 5 years of field experience with two 2 years of supervisory responsibilities required.
• Must have experience with high-speed fillers, blow molders, and production lines.
• Must have experience in directing and managing all aspects of safety protocols for a manufacturing facility, including but not limited to Lock-Out-Tag-Out, etc., Environmental, Refrigeration, boilers, and preventive maintenance program understanding are essential.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering or Mechanical Engineering.

Type: Full-time; Direct Hire

Schedule: Day Shift, 6am to 5pm (flexible based on plant needs)

Pepsi Bottling Ventures is seeking a Maintenance Manager to join a growing and dynamic team!

Job Description:

• Recruit, interview, hire, and develop a team of 25+ maintenance employees.
• Lead with a safety-first mindset, ensuring safe practices and equipment safety measures are always in place and functional.
• Coordinate with city, state, and federal officials to maintain compliance with government regulations.
• Manage the Maintenance Department to uphold quality standards, food safety, and food defense protocols.
• Oversee the annual budget and expenditures, ensuring control over maintenance purchases and spending.
• Manage the Parts Room team to maintain an accurate and sufficient parts inventory.
• Plan and execute capital and operational expense projects, evaluating equipment needs and overseeing upgrades or purchases.
• Maintain a thorough understanding of production equipment operation, troubleshooting, diagnosing, and ensuring timely repairs or replacements.
• Implement and manage preventive, corrective, and condition-based maintenance schedules to maximize equipment reliability and efficiency.
• Collaborate with the management team to identify and improve production efficiencies.

Position Requirements:

• Experience with Programmable Logic Controllers (PLC) and PLC software.
• Project management and capital project planning experience required.
• Should have an understanding of AIBI and ISO 2002 audit processes, and strong ability to multi-task and set priorities.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications and SAP software.
• Lean Six Sigma certification preferred.
• In-depth knowledge of OSHA rules and regulations.
• Experience in welding, piping, structural, electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration systems.
• Strong budget management and project planning skills.
• Ability to problem-solve, prioritize, and handle stress effectively.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent organizational skills with a keen attention to detail.
• Flexibility to work hours necessary to complete tasks.
• Must be proficient in English (speaking, reading, and comprehension).
