Summary of Job Duties:
The successful candidate will ensure that Intramural Sport contests are played fairly and safely through officiating and/or scorekeeping. Intramural sports officials are responsible for providing an atmosphere of fun in a competitive, yet safe, environment. Must be able to implement intramural sports policies and playing rules in order to maintain an appropriate level of control, fairness and safety. Regular, reliable, and non-disruptive attendance is an essential job duty, as is the ability to create and maintain collegial, harmonious working relationships with others. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.
Qualifications:
Required Education and/or Experience:
* Current UA Little Rock student.
Preferred Education and/or Experience:
* Previous sports officiating experience;
* General sport specific knowledge;
* 1st Aid/CPR Certification.
Job Duties & Responsibilities:
* Manage Intramural Sports contests;
* Attend clinics and meetings designated for each sport;
* Ensure the safety of participants during Intramural Sports contests;
* Represent the Department of Campus Recreation in an exemplary manner.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
* Strong communication skills;
* Willingness to learn;

* Ability to work with a diverse population;
* Ability to learn the rules of specific sports;
