What You'll Do:
Requirements & Analysis: Gather and analyze requirements to support the implementation of the Navy's Naval Operational Supply System (NOSS). Document current processes and identify areas for improvement.
Process Improvement: Lead and facilitate workshops to map business processes, identify pain points, and develop optimized solutions.
Stakeholder Collaboration: Act as a liaison between contractor teams, stakeholders, and functional process owners to ensure business reform objectives are met.
Research & Design: Conduct research and interviews to pinpoint misalignments and efficiency opportunities. Collaborate on designing more effective supply chain processes.
Technical Documentation: Create detailed technical content, including use cases, user stories, and functional specifications. Prepare project status updates using Microsoft Suite.
Agile Practices: Apply agile methodologies (scrum, kanban) to manage and execute projects efficiently. Use tools like Jira and Confluence for project tracking.
Performance Measurement: Develop and assess Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of implemented processes.
What We're Looking For:
Experience: 8-10 years in IT, with strong experience in requirements gathering, process analysis, and information systems integration.
Education: Bachelor's degree in a relevant field.
Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Experience in business process improvement, Agile/Scrum development, and using BPMN 2.0 notation with Microsoft Visio.
Technical Knowledge: Familiarity with Jira, Confluence, and supply chain management. Experience with SAP is a plus.
Certifications: Lean Six Sigma and Project Management (PMP) certifications are preferred.
Security Clearance: Must be a US citizen.
Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit or stand for extended periods.
Typing and reading from a computer screen.
Mobility for tasks such as bending and reaching. Lifting up to 30 pounds if necessary.
