Job Description

JOB SUMMARY:

Reporting into the Data Analytics Manager, this individual will gain exposure to overall business analytics and data management. The intern will enhance their technical skills using SQL, Tableau report visualization, data modeling with Knime, excel report design and effectively communicate and present their analysis.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
    • Assist data analyst with business analysis and ad hoc requests
    • Document processes/requirements for reports, models, and standard procedures
    • Help design, create, analyze customer data models
    • Help Analytics Manager with customer behavior analysis as needed
    • Assist in managing and organizing files on local/shared drives and with database
REQUIREMENTS:
EDUCATION:
  • Pursuing a business, data science or computer science degree.
EXPERIENCE:
  • Previous work or internship experience with Data/Business Analysis
SKILLS:
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office 365 (Excel a must, PowerPoint, Outlook, Teams)
    • Excel comfortability with pivot tables, lookup & nested formulas
  • Proficient with programming languages like SQL
    • SQL comfortability with large data sets, joining tables, aggregating data
  • Familiarity with analysis tools like Tableau, Power BI, Python, Knime, or Alteryx
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills; must be personable yet persistent
  • Comfortable forming insights & presenting findings to various team members
  • Be highly organized and bring a high level of attention to detail and intellectual rigor, while working under tight deadlines and on multiple projects simultaneously
  • Ability to work well with multiple teams
  • Ability to multi-task and work within provided deadlines.
PHYSICAL & TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS:
  • Must be able to come into NYC office 3 days a week
