Job Title: Superintendent - Gas Station Projects

Location: Georgia

Salary Range: $100,000 - $120,000 per year

About the Client:

Our client is a well-established general contractor based in Georgia, specializing in a diverse range of commercial and infrastructure projects. They have built a reputation for delivering high-quality work and have an exciting pipeline of upcoming gas station construction projects. The company is now looking to add a Superintendent with gas station construction experience to their team.

Position Overview:

As a Superintendent for our client, you will be responsible for overseeing the construction of gas stations, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. You will manage and coordinate the work of subcontractors, supervise day-to-day operations on site, and ensure full compliance with safety and quality regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage all aspects of the construction process for gas station projects, from initial planning to project completion.
  • Oversee subcontractors, coordinate schedules, and ensure efficient workflow on-site.
  • Conduct daily inspections to ensure the highest standards of quality and safety are maintained.
  • Work closely with the project manager to stay on top of project timelines, budgets, and resource allocation.
  • Ensure compliance with all building codes and regulations, particularly those specific to gas station construction.
  • Resolve any on-site issues or delays and keep the project on track.
  • Maintain clear communication with clients, vendors, and stakeholders regarding project progress and milestones.
  • Enforce all safety protocols to ensure a safe working environment for all staff on-site.

Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Superintendent in construction, specifically with gas station projects.
  • Strong leadership and organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple subcontractors and workstreams.
  • Solid understanding of gas station construction requirements, building codes, and safety regulations.
  • Proficiency in construction management software and basic office tools (e.g., MS Office).
  • Ability to effectively troubleshoot and resolve on-site challenges.
  • Exceptional communication skills to interact with clients, stakeholders, and the project team.
  • A commitment to maintaining safety standards and a high level of work quality.
