About the Role
The Company is seeking a Chief of Staff to the Vice President for Policy, Advocacy, and Campaigns. The successful candidate will be the key individual responsible for the execution of the division's agenda, spanning various teams including government relations and finance and operations. This role is pivotal in driving productivity, managing information flow, and supporting strategic planning processes. The Chief of Staff will also ensure effective external engagement, manage administrative coordination, and serve as an advisor to the Vice President, fostering relationships critical to the division's priorities. A significant part of the role involves managing the division's prioritization, delegation of operations, and critical issue resolution. The Chief of Staff is expected to work closely with the Vice President, serving as an extension of their office and ensuring the division's goals are met with efficiency and effectiveness. The ideal candidate should have a minimum of a Bachelor's degree and at least 7 years' of relevant experience, with a strong background in the U.S. policymaking process, government structures, or advocacy. The Chief of Staff will also be tasked with managing administrative and board support functions, facilitating engagement within the organization, and supporting external engagement by division leadership. Required qualifications include political acumen, the ability to make sound decisions in a fast-paced environment, and a demonstrated commitment to diversity and inclusion. The candidate should be adept at networking, have a proven ability to manage confidential information, and possess professional communication skills. Preferred qualifications include successful project management and experience in complex organizations.
