Certified Nurse Midwife - Full-Time 40 Hours

Summary:

Provide quality patient-centered women’s health obstetrical and gynecological services for patients including comprehensive physical examinations, maternity deliveries , routine and appropriate sick-care assessments and interventions.

Minimum Qualifications: threshold below which you would not hire.

• Education in the disciplines of nursing and midwifery
• Certified by American College of Nurse-Midwives Certification
• Connecticut License Certified Nurse Midwife
• Knowledge of professional nursing theory, clinical practice standards, normal maternal/fetal growth and development, and requirements of nurse-midwifery practice
• Federal and State controlled substance licenses
• BLS certification

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to independently seek out resources and solve complex problems
• Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and written
• Ability to provide leadership in the clinical area of expertise and in meeting organizational goals
• Excellent organizational skills
