Position Scope:

Candidate must have experience in wood working and have general knowledge of basic hand tools, able to read a tape measure. Candidate must have the knowledge to building cabinetry, read and follow blue print drawings, cut parts, laminate, veneer, sand, file, etc. to completely build store fixtures to specifications in a timely manner.

Position Duties and Responsibilities:

1. Manufacturers product according to drawings and specifications.
2. Under the direction of the Wood Production Supervisor, manages production schedules assuring timely completion of product to meet customer requirements.
3. Develops and maintains specifications and procedures for department.
4. Completes complex tasks in a given time period, adjusting for changing priorities.
5. Assures the work area and aisles around them are kept clean and free of debris.
6. Assists in the training of team members to meet established standards.
7. Assures that parts or subassemblies and finished product are labeled correctly.
8. Follows procedures in company handbook and other documents.
9. Displays a sense of urgency towards completing assigned tasks.
10. Maintains outstanding attendance.
11. Is dependable and displays a strong work ethic.
12. Works within a team concept and contributes to a positive work environment.
13. Demonstrates a professional attitude in approaching job assignment.
14. Communicates effectively to internal customers, verbally and in writing.
15. Maintains professional image to customer and other employees.
16. Assists in developing timely solutions to problems.
17. Maintains a safe working environment, making sure employees will not get in a situation to be injured.
18. Assures the quality of product produced is acceptable.
19. Other duties that may be assigned on an as-required basis.
