We are offering a long-term contract employment opportunity for an Agile Project Manager with Scrum Master Experience in the life insurance industry, based in West Des Moines, Iowa. This role involves overseeing projects and ensuring team collaboration, primarily focusing on software development lifecycle (SDLC) and enterprise data integration support.

Responsibilities:

• Manage Agile Scrum and Waterfall methodologies to ensure project efficiency and effectiveness.
• Utilize Azure DevOps for better project tracking and team collaboration.
• Handle cross-functional project management, ensuring all team members are working together smoothly.
• Oversee the budgeting process and change management to ensure projects remain within the set parameters.
• Apply formal project management techniques to guarantee timely project delivery.
• Manage IT-related projects, ensuring all tasks are completed on time and within budget.
• Support the integration of enterprise applications for smoother workflow operations.
• Leverage your knowledge of architecture platforms to enhance project outcomes.
• Implement traditional Waterfall methods when necessary for project success.
• Ensure all project management practices align with organizational standards and goals.• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Agile Project Manager or in a similar role.
• Expertise in Agile Scrum methodology is mandatory.
• Proficient in budget processes and financial management.
• Demonstrated skills in change management, effectively leading and implementing change initiatives.
• Experience in cross-functional project management, managing teams across different business functions.
• Understanding and experience in formal project management practices.
• IT project management experience, preferably in the insurance industry.
• Familiarity with Azure DevOps and general DevOps practices.
• Knowledge of both Waterfall and Waterfall Agile methodologies.
• Experience in managing projects using traditional Waterfall methodology.
• Proficient in application integration, ensuring seamless integration across various applications.
• Experience in enterprise application integration, integrating enterprise-wide applications.
• Expertise in enterprise integration, ensuring smooth functioning of the entire enterprise system.
