Join us for cocktail reception from 6:00-8:00 and meet and greet in the Mill Room as we welcome Tom Casey to Das Bevo. Tom, a retired merchant marine and Bevo resident has spent his life building models by hand from wood and paper. His fondness for fire trucks led him to our biergarten and he created an exact replica of our 1951 American LaFrance fire truck. His other works include a Ferris wheel, roller coaster, and ship that he spent 10 years on as a marine. You will be charmed by Tom and his work. The STL fire department will also be here Friday evening from 5-7 with a hook and ladder and Das Bevo will have popsicles for the kids. Bring the whole family!
Tom’s work will remain on display through Memorial day and he will be here off and on to talk about his work and process.
